The Pantheon

The Pantheon is a new installation by Nastivicious, Nástio Mosquito and Vic Pereiró’s collaborative project. The work acts as an audio-visual manifesto for the celebration of cultural theft and consumption. Diverse images, symbols and texts interplay in startling ways, in doing so embracing remix culture. Images of events and historical figures are juxtaposed in a colourfully vivid abstract style, demanding of us to challenge and ‘contaminate’ many of our own assumptions, and to look at things in more complex ways. Best viewed from inside, The Pantheon is a new mega-mix of the Nastivicious collaboration, specially made for the exhibition King of Klowns at M HKA Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp.
